About EDTC
The EDTC Franchise System
The EDTC Franchise system was developed to distribute goods and services.
Each province/country shall have one franchisee (or two if the need arises).
· The EDTC Personal Viability Programme shall be implemented through EDTC Franchisees or EDTC Coordinators in provinces where EDTC Franchisees have not yet been established.
·
All
Community PV HomeSchools must come under EDTC Franchisees in each province.
Every PV HomeSchool is an EDTC Franchisee or EDTC Sub-Fanchisee under the
EDTC Franchise Agreement.
· In each and every province, an EDTC Franchisee will become involved in BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & ADVISORY SERVICES to assist entrepreneurs move up the ladder of the EDTC Scheme of Self-Reliance.
Personal Viability Program
The EDTC Personal Viability Program is a sustainable program developed by Entrepreneurial Development Training Centre Ltd (Franchiser) with provincial EDTC Franchisees supervising PV Trainers and Personal Viability Training Courses and other Personal Viability program activities.
EDTC Personal Viability was developed in 1994 & officially launched in 1996. 8 years later the process of grading personal viability was officially launched. The PV Grading system is a method of grading the process of human development, the transition of a human resource to a human asset. The four levels of PROVISIONAL, BRONZE, SILVER & GOLD GRADING are measures of a person’s viability as an asset to him/herself, family, business, community, province & country.
EDTC Franchise and PV HomeSchools
PV HomeSchools are vehicles to deliver holistic human development training techniques and products of the EDTC Franchise.
There is a second type of PV HomeSchools that are not part of the PV HomeSchool Scheme. These are the PV HomeSchools that do not require financial assistance. For example, Churches, existing schools, communities and private individuals with existing infrastructures that are suitable for a PV HomeSchool may apply to EDTC for approval to develop a PV HomeSchool.
The following conditions apply for eligibility as a franchisee of the PV HomeSchool Scheme:
1. An applicant must be a registered EDTC PV Trainer & have conducted a minimum of 20 PV courses.
2. Applicant must possess a good pass in EDTC Commercial Mathematics or Form 4 Maths.
3. Applicant must have a title to land suitable for a PV HomeSchool.
Business Development and Advisory Services
EDTC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & ADVISORY SERVICES is a one-stop shop for all business requirements. The EDTC business system continues the holistic nature of PV where the whole is inter-related. Most business programs are organised in a piecemeal concept. For example accounting is separate to management or markets. Starting a business is separate to running a business. Developing a business and quality control are separate.
In business, one has to consider the business as a whole. Business decisions cannot be made by consideration of some aspects of the business.
