Personal Viability
From the young man born in Rabaul to the multi millionaire in Port Moresby to bankruptanucy. The story of Samuel Tam's life in business, his success, failures, experiences which lead him to create EDTC Personal Viability. More
Personal Viability is Holistic Human Development of a personal and family unit, (Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Emotional, Financial) Personal Viability is making a person become total viable on themselves and not dependent on others, this is a true problem in PNG where many depend on wantoks (relatives). With in business if the person running the business is not viable then surely the business cannot be viable. This is a reason why many business fail. More
The Game of Money is a follow-up course of Personal Viability. We at EDTC believe in action first and in the GoM we do exactly this. We teach participants to rollover money first and then how to accurately record their performance. More
The Game of Rich is the third and final of our courses targeting families. People and their families must be taken care of for other business to prosper which is why we insist on participants going through Step1-3 prior to been taught business. The Game of Rich is specifically about assessing one's reality and setting financial and life goals, with the assistance of an EDTC PV Coach we create the steps to achieve their goals within the year. More
EDTC's philosophy is based on teaching people to be self reliant, this is where we "teach people how to fish", instead of giving them fish, (handout mentality) which many people are too accustomed too. If every one knew "how to fish" the world would be a much better place. More
Just because you have attended Personal Viability doesn't mean you are a viable person. You only have the knowledge of PV but to put it into action is total different. Walking the walk, not just talking the talk. EDTC has a system in place for action learning through the EDTC Scheme of Self Reliance. More

The Difference between Supply and Demand Driven Finance. The supply of credit is feeding people who think they need capital to start projects, in actual fact they would only need K10.00 to start a project. It is better to start small and gain experience. Demand driven is to prepare people first then to there will be viable demand for credit. More
PNG cannot always depend on foreign credit facilities. To change this we need Papua New Guineas to be financially literate. Accumulation and use of money is our biggest set back and we need to start the change in mind set with the family unit. More
The EDTC PV Grading system is system to teach people to create viable entrepreneurs. With out a viable/competent driver a car will not move or it will be driven dangerously. The same goes for business the entrepreneur (driver) needs to be viable and competent so his business can prosper. EDTC's PV Grading system has been created to take people from Micro, to Small, Medium, Large Business. More
